Halloween is just around the corner and this year when you’re doing your shopping, keep more than just the Trick-or-Treaters in mind! Thanks to Jenny’s creativity, you can take all of those old candy wrappers and bags and create a one-of-a-kind gift (or fun little project for yourself!) using no more than the wrappers, a little scrap fabric and batting, a zipper and some Heat N Bond Iron-on Vinyl!

I didn't make many gifts this year - I was a little short on time unfortunately, but I did manage to get small things done.

First was a secret Santa gift for the office exchange. The person I was matched with really likes pink, candles and tea. So I decided to buy her a scented candle, a tea cup and I made a pink one-hour basket to put them in!

A little while ago, my sister asked me if I could make a coin purse for her. I had to travel to Denver for work last week so didn't have a whole lot of time to sew, but a coin purse is really quick and easy so I decided to get it done!

It's true. Way too many hobbies. I knit, sew, crochet, run, read, write, play video games and sometimes cross stitch. And there isn't enough time to devote the amount of attention I would like to each of them. So I go in phases, sometimes week by week, sometimes month by month. But in a perfect world I wouldn't need to go to work every day and I could just rotate hobbies all day long...
